WHY WE ARE HERE
Every child deserves a chance to thrive.
Developmental disabilities affect 1 in 6 children in the United States. These challenges impact families from all backgrounds—regardless of race, income, or location. While public early intervention programs and insurance-covered therapies offer essential support, they don’t cover everything. And for many families, the services that truly make a difference are simply out of reach.
That’s where The Brave Little Bears Foundation comes in.

We provide grants to families of children with developmental disabilities—so they can access the private therapies, adaptive activities, and mainstream recreational programs their children need to grow, learn, and connect.

Whether it’s a therapy not covered by insurance, a provider who doesn’t accept it, or a program designed for children with unique needs, these supports often come with a price tag that many families can’t afford. We help bridge that gap.
WHAT WE DO
Financial support where it counts.
With your help, children with developmental disabilities can:
-
Access critical therapies like speech, occupational, or behavioral therapy
-
Participate in specialized programs and inclusive activities that are critical for development, promote social connection, and elevate their overall well-being
-
Receive adaptive support or equipment that allows them to play, learn, and thrive alongside their peers
Your support means more than just financial aid. It means opportunity, inclusion, and hope for families navigating a complex and costly care system. Read more about the Therapy Grants, Activity Grants, and Recreational Access grants we offer here.

Together, we can make a difference in the lives of children who deserve every chance to reach their full potential.
Donate today and help us build a more inclusive future—one child, one family at a time.
