The Brave Little Bears Foundation is recognized as a tax-exempt, nonprofit organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our date of incorporation was June 17, 2025. Does your company match employee donations? Use our EIN 39-2792994 and check with your HR rep.

By supporting Brave Little Bears, you help provide access to services often financially out of reach—but deeply life-changing.

​How Your Donation Helps

Your gift directly supports children with developmental disabilities by funding therapies, activities, and inclusive recreation.

​

  • $25 – One (1) sensory-friendly haircut to make an everyday experience comfortable and stress-free.

  • $50 – A month’s supply of adaptive art materials for at-home skill building.

  • $75 – One (1) 30-minute hippotherapy (horseback riding) session to build balance, coordination, and confidence.

  • $90 – One (1) month membership to a sensory gym designed to encourage movement and sensory regulation.

  • $100 – Purchase of specially designed materials (e.g., lighter soccer balls, ergonomic paintbrushes) so a child can join a mainstream recreational activity.

  • $150 – One (1) 50-minute private physical therapy session with a pediatric specialist.

  • $240 – Four (4) one-on-one swim lessons with a specially-trained special needs swim instructor.

  • $300 – Private speech therapy evaluation to identify communication needs and goals.

  • $500 – Hiring a one-on-one aide so a child can safely participate in a township recreational program.

  • $750 – Providing inclusivity training for coaches, teachers, or program leaders to better serve children with disabilities.

  • $800 – One (1) week of special needs day camp, offering socialization and skill-building in a supportive environment.

  • $1,200 – Six months of adaptive music lessons to foster creativity and fine motor skills.

  • $2,000 – One (1) week of special needs overnight camp, providing independence and friendship in a safe setting.

  • $3,000 – Evaluation and 15 private therapy sessions — the industry-standard episodic treatment package to set measurable progress in motion.

MISSION STATEMENT

The Brave Little Bears Foundation is dedicated to providing financial assistance and support to families with children who have developmental disabilities, enabling them to access private therapies, specialized activities, and mainstream recreational programs that are otherwise out of reach. Our goal is to alleviate the unique burdens these families face, ensuring they have the resources to support their children’s happiness, development, and well-being.
